Students are responsible for obtaining and bringing materials for classes unless otherwise indicated. Materials lists for all classes and workshops will be posted online at www.dfac.org or available at the Dunedin Fine Art Center upon request for those without computer access.

If you have any questions or comments about classes and instructors, please contact our Adult Educational Assistant, Sara DeLorenzo, at extension 234 or our Youth Educational Assistant, Shannon Pattee, at extension 224.

Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

The Dunedin Fine Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment without incurring obligations. If a class is cancelled, you may transfer to another class or request a full tuition refund. Either a transfer or a refund must be requested within that session. Failure to request either a transfer or refund within the session will result in the loss of that tuition. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment prior to the start date, it may be cancelled, so please register early!

Withdrawals

Withdrawals from any CLASS must take place by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the first day of each session. Withdrawals from any WORKSHOP must take place one week before the first day of the workshop. A refund of the tuition minus a $25 administrative fee will be issued. Students withdrawing from any class or workshop after the date listed above will be issued a refund minus the instructors’ compensation and a $25 administrative fee. The amount will vary so please contact Sara DeLorenzo for more information.

Pro-Rating

Pro-rating will only apply to students registering for three or less remaining classes. A $25 administration fee will apply.

Walk-In Fee

Students attempting to register on, or after, the first day of classes are subject to a $10 Walk-In Fee. This fee is intended to encourage students to register in advance of the start of class thereby allowing the Art Center to plan classroom space and materials appropriately. In the case of a class that has reached maximum registration, Walk-In Students will NOT be allowed to register or participate. Please avoid disappointment and register early for your classes.

Workshops

Workshops are offered for those who are unable to commit to a weekly class. They are typically offered on a ½ day, full day, 2-day or weeklong basis. Tuition covers the cost of instruction for a specified date or dates.

Emergencies

Emergency closing may occur in the event of severe weather conditions.

Make-Up Classes

Make-up classes will be scheduled if a Dunedin Fine Art Center instructor cancels a class. If a student is unable to attend class for any reason, the Dunedin Fine Art Center is not responsible for providing any additional make-up class or refund.

Non-Profit Status
