DUNEDIN FL  USA. The David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum is an interpretive and interactive gallery space for children and their families.  Starting September 9th, DFAC invites you to participate in a wonderful and unique opportunity, , the 25th annual children’s hands-on exhibit, A Toy Story: New and beloved Favorites. This interactive, hands-on experience for 4.5 to 12 years old provides an environment where you can explore how Art and Science go hand in hand in the wonderful world of “Play”.

  • Work in a Toy designers/builder’s shop using your building imagination with items like Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs
  • Watercolor toy still lifes
  • Animated chalk wall Space Cadets
  • Dance with toys and robots in our own green screen theater
  • Create colorful images with our giant lite bright table
  • Draw with laser powered crayons
  • Barrel of monkeys for sure
  • Giant connect four
  • Stop motion mania Plus more!

These and more wonderful experiences are waiting for your students here at DFAC and by using Art, Science, humor, and History to explore the theme, fun and learning are boundless.

Admission

Your admission to the David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum helps to ensure that the Dunedin Fine Art Center can continue to support artists and give members of all ages within the community the opportunity to experience the arts.

Members – Free (note new hours below)
For groups, please call ahead to discuss scheduling and pricing.

Non-Members – $4 (note new hours below)

Monday – Friday 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

June – August* 2024

Monday – Friday: CLOSED to the Public For Camps
Saturday:  10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The museum is reserved for our Summer Arts Academy.

Free Artsy Opportunities for Families at DFAC

 Get your hands on some family fun with FREE admission to our “hands-on” museum. It’s bound to be a sensational experience!

Free Family Fun Nights 5pm – 7pm
DFAC is extending its hours and offering free admission! We will have a special activity plus all the hands-on museum activites as well.
