Children’s Museum

The David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum is an interpretive and interactive gallery space for children and their families.  DFAC invites you to participate in a wonderful and unique opportunity to explore the world through the 18th annual children’s hands-on exhibit, Artsy Sensations.  This new interactive hands on experience for 4.5 to 12 year olds provides an environment where you can explore how integral the senses are in creating and enjoying art. Try your hand at reading braille and then draw/paint what you’ve read.  Also, try and figure out the four “out of sight” objects and draw them. Take a whiff from the mystery boxes and then create a picture of what you smell. Explore the new MacPro stations with artsy apps. These and more wonderful experiences are waiting for you here at DFAC and by using Art, Science, humor, and History to explore the theme, fun and learning are boundless.
