At the Dunedin Fine Art Center, we strive to make art an all-encompassing experience! We want the community to not only be able to enjoy art through our curated exhibits, but we want them to have endless opportunities to explore a new medium and uncover some hidden talents too! We are proud to offer numerous classes at both the youth and adult levels, so there is something for everyone.

Class Session Schedule

Our classes are divided into seven 6-week sessions throughout the year. Workshops happen weekly throughout the year, with a special emphasis during our workshop weeks. Registrations are currently available for the following sessions.

Spring: April 8th – May 19th, 2024
Summer I: June 3rd – July 14th, 2024
Summer II: July 15th – August 25th, 2024

Adult Classes

The Gladys Douglas School for the Arts at the Dunedin Fine Art Center offers a variety of classes for adults. Whether you’re interested in jewelry making, painting, photography, pottery or digital arts, the Dunedin Fine Art Center has a class that can help you release your creative spirit. Students of all ages find both new insights and skills within our eight studio classrooms, in stress-free classes taught by some of the most respected teachers in the Tampa Bay area. Most adult classes meet once per week for six weeks.

Adult Workshops

We realize that life gets busy and sometimes you might not be able to commit to a regular class, which is why we offer workshops. Our workshops are offered every weekend throughout the year and during the week at select times. We offer a variety of workshops such as clay, drawing, fiber arts, painting and more, so wherever your interests lie, we have something for you.

Youth Classes

Through the arts, children learn to think creatively, build confidence, hone their ability to focus, are challenged to solve problems and much more! That’s why we’re proud to offer classes for children and teens, starting as young as 4 ½ years old. All of our classes offer different variations of drawing, painting, clay. henna, computers, photography and more.
