Children’s Museum

The David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum is an interpretive and interactive gallery space for children and their families.  DFAC invites you to participate in a wonderful and unique opportunity to explore the world through, the 19th annual children’s hands-on exhibit, Positively Pagemaker: The Art in Storytelling. This interactive hands on experience for 4.5 to 12 year olds provides an environment where you can explore how integral art is to the written word. Try your hand at writing and illustrating in a giant 8-foot book. Also, retell favorite childhood stories with a variety of felt storyboards. Sit in a pyramid and learn how papyrus was made while creating your own stories using hieroglyphics.  Explore the updated iPad stations with interactive reading apps. These and more wonderful experiences are waiting for your students here at DFAC and by using Art, Science, humor, and History to explore the theme, fun and learning are boundless.
