Adult Workshops

At the Dunedin Fine Art Center, we want everyone to be able to explore their artistic side! We understand that life gets busy and committing to an extended class session may not be realistic for everyone. This is why we are proud to offer weekly workshops! Through our workshops, both beginner and advanced students have the opportunity to explore new artistic mediums and techniques without committing to an extended class session.

Please see below for the precautions we are taking, based on CDC guidelines, to keep everyone safe at the art center.

If you are NOT FEELING WELL, do NOT come to DFAC!
Studios set up with individual tables/chairs following 6ft social distancing spacing

Everyone in the building must wear a mask or face covering – this includes students, faculty, staff and visitors

Temperatures will be taken with touchless thermometers at the South facing main entrance
Hand sanitizing at the main entrance
All studios have a sink with soap for students to wash their hands
6ft spacing reminders throughout the building on floors and stanchions
Sanitizing of “high touch” areas regularly throughout the day
Cleaning/Sanitizing  between class sessions
Nightly “deep cleans”

We want to do the best we can with keeping everyone Happy and Healthy at all times at DFAC  and ensure that everyone stays safe, healthy and creative!

Our workshops are offered during the weekdays and on some weekends throughout the year. Registrations are currently available for the following sessions:

Winter I: January 10 – February 20
Workshop Week: February 21-27
Winter II: February 28 – April 10
Spring: April 11 – May 22

Explore the basic metalworking skills, including how to cut metal using various techniques and Mig and Tig welding. Workshops include equipment maintenance and safety procedures. Courses are held at the Institute for Creative Arts on Douglas Ave in Dunedin.
