ARTS in Motion Summer Camp

This camp embraces the idea that art goes beyond just the traditional/visual and has opportunities to explore other “art-full” areas. 2025 will feature Musical Theater camps.

ARTS in Motion: Ages 8 – 12

$234/week Member
$260/week Non-Member

Young artists get the chance to create theater from the ground up! Participants will work together to produce an original piece with song and dance. Each week of themed dramatics culminates in a celebratory performance showcasing campers’ diligence and ingenuity. Writing scripts, practicing lines & auditioning for parts is also part of the Musical.

Aftercare

For a more flexible pick up time, aftercare is available for $75 per camper/per week. Hours are 3:15 – 5:30 p.m. Mini Masters require an older sibling in order to participate.
(Note: for 4-day week 3 Aftercare is available for $60)

Lunch & Snacks

Students bring: Lunch, snack & drink bottle daily
(Aftercare students bring 2 snacks daily)
(No microwave heat ups)
(No Snack Cart option)
Lunch is also available through Palm Cafe. Orders must be put in on Mondays by 10:00 am.

9:00 – 11:20 a.m.

11:20 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Indoor lunch (not provided).

12:15 – 12:45 p.m.
Theme related video clip and/or indoor games.

12:50 – 3:00 p.m.

*Children may have a bit of fresh air/outdoor time at the instructor’s discretion.

NOTE: Parent/Adult must sign their camper in and out daily and show ID upon pick up. Drop off is between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and pick up is promptly at 3:00 p.m.

Week 1: Alien Takeover: Barnyard Edition

What antics could possibly occur when the aliens takeover the farm???

Week 2: Shark Week 11: Shark Shifters
6/8 – 6/12

You thought it was a shark but think again! Could it really be a shapeshifter???

Week 3: Rumble in the Jungle
6/15 – 6/18 (4-day week: Closed 6/19)

Anacondas, Elephants, Tucans, and more creating lively mischief throughout the jungle…

Week 4: Wacky Wizardly Wonderlands (Exhibit week)
6/22 – 6/26

With a wave of the wand, you can create a wizardly wonderland that extends to the ends of your imagination with your favorite mythical creatures.

Week 5: Crazy Capybara Carnival
6/29 – 7/3

Take your capybara friend on a wild carnival ride, play games, buy some cotton candy, or even win a prize!!!

Week 6: “Soda” Pop Art
7/6 – 7/10

Turn your favorite “fizzy” concoction into a pop art sensation! You’re my soda pop…

Week 7: Pirate Pandemonium
7/13 – 7/17

Aye, Matey! Sail the seas to a hidden island where treasures await if you can find them…

Week 8: Starry Night Snakes Make Minecraft Cakes
7/20 – 7/24

Van Gogh inspired snakes slither into the kitchen to cook up a Minecrafty dessert.

Week 9: Multiverse Emojis
7/27 – 7/31

Leap through the multiverse possibilities with your favorite emoji characters.

Week 10: End of Summer Ocean Bash
8/3 – 8/7

Stingrays, dolphins, whales, octopus, sea turtles, and more. Surf the waves to celebrate the end of summer sea creature style.
