W-PA124 Painting Wildlife in Pastels with Shawn Dell Joyce
September 26 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
All levels welcome!
Paint Florida wildlife! Choose from provided reference photos of seabirds, manatees, turtles, gators, etc and create different textures like fur, scales, skin, water, feathers, using pastels. Learn how to scumble, use linear strokes, daubing and dusting to create a focal point on an old painting or basis for a new painting. Bring a stack of unfinished or mediocre paintings that you want to add a creature to. No “trashy paintings”? No problem! Make a few studies of creatures to use for future paintings. Fun and step-by-step process, finish a few paintings and learn new skills!
