W-MM400 Paper Mache Sculpture with Joyce Curvin (OCT 2, 9, 16, 23)

Design a dog, fashion a feline or any four legged  friend and “bring it to life” with paper mache. Students will use a variety of recyclable materials including plastic bottles, cardboard and newspaper to create an animal’s body shape, then add layers of paper mache, embellishments and paint to create their very own “Art-Official Pet”. During the process,  we’ll explore a variety of techniques, textures and recipes in paper mache. Materials fee covers all needed supplies. This workshop meets for 4 Fridays. Ages 17 and up.
