W-MS101 Documentation and Applying to Shows with Deon Blackwell

Ready to take your work out to the world?  This Maker Space lecture will guide you through taking good images of your artwork including lighting, arrangement, and camera settings on your cell phone,  how to make the file format for a proper portfolio, and what types of shows to apply to.  We will cover gallery expectations, what types of shows are available and where to find them, and how to cater your work towards the proper call to artists.  Bring in one or two pieces of your work to document along with a USB flash drive to take the images with you.  When you leave the lecture, you will be ready to submit to an art show.
