Learn how to photograph your work using your cell phone, including tips for lighting, composition, and camera settings, as well as how to prepare image files for a professional portfolio.

We’ll also cover gallery expectations, the different types of exhibitions available, where to find calls for artists, and how to tailor your submissions to the opportunities that best fit your work. Bring one or two pieces of your artwork to photograph, along with a USB flash drive so you can take your images home.

By the end of the lecture, you’ll have the tools and confidence to prepare and submit your work to an art exhibition.
