This class will cover the basics of Linocut Printmaking. Learning a brief history, terminology, tools, safe carving techniques, and how versatile printmaking can be. You will be able to carve your own single color linoleum plates from design to print, experiment with textures, layering, and negative/ positive space. A bit of drawing knowledge is encouraged, but abstract mark making is also fun! Ages 17 and up.
