Exciting news! Earlier this year, two of DFAC’s students, Ellen Jean Cole and Danielle Ferreira, along with their instructor Barbara Rivolta, were selected for The Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide (AMCAW) juried exhibition, Superbly Sintered: Masterful Designs in Metal Clay. The exhibit included twenty-two pieces, chosen from 100 entries by artists from seven different countries.
As Martha Vaughan from AMCAW said, “What is it in the water at Dunedin? This really speaks to the caliber of artistic excellence and exploration at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.”
“It is really impressive that artists from our Dunedin arts community have such a strong showing in an international exhibition,” said Barbara Rivolta.
Check out these beautiful metal clay pieces!

The exhibition was shown online and in-person at SINTER: The AMCAW Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from May 19 to 22, 2022. Congratulations to these three DFAC artists!
