We understand that life can get busy, which is why we offer flexible workshops for those who can’t commit to a regular class. Our workshops are available on weekends throughout the year, with select sessions during the week. From clay and drawing to fiber arts and painting, we offer a variety of workshops to suit your interests.

Teen & Kid Art Classes
Through the arts, children develop creativity, confidence, focus, problem-solving skills, and so much more! That’s why we’re excited to offer classes for kids and teens, starting at just 5 years old. Our classes cover a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, clay, henna, digital art, photography, and more.

Teen & Kid Workshops
DFAC’s workshops for kids and teens offer exciting opportunities to dive into art and creativity. From painting and ceramics to digital design and even cooking, these workshops provide fun, hands-on experiences led by talented instructors. Perfect for exploring new interests or building skills, they’re a great way to spark imagination and creativity in a supportive environment.

Our Instructors
Our award-winning instructors at the Dunedin Fine Art Center teach a variety of artistic mediums. Our instructors have taught at renowned schools and have been showcased locally, nationally and internationally. Combining education, experience and talent, our instructors have helped thousands of students, young and old, learn new artistic skills and unleash their creativity.

Teach a Class
Dunedin Fine Art Center welcomes new course proposals from qualified teaching artists. We require that our instructors have at least 3 years of teaching experience in a classroom or studio setting. We strongly prefer that our instructors have a college degree in studio art or fine art, with a concentration in the medium they wish to teach.

Scholarships
Our scholarship awards fund one six-week class per individual. These scholarships are intended to help children, teens and adults who cannot otherwise afford to take a class at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Our scholarships cover the cost of one regular class or workshop as well as any associated materials fees. Awards are limited to one class per session. Applications must be submitted two weeks prior to start of desired session.
