Sizzlin’ Summer Yellow Group: Ages 6 – 7 (*completion of kindergarten required)

$225/week Member
$250/week Non-Member

The visual arts camp introduces students to a variety of media, techniques, art history, and multicultural appreciation in a fun and educational environment. Pre-planned age-appropriate projects, based on the weekly themes, are worked on daily and ready to come home by Friday. Clay projects take a few days to be fired and are ready to pick up the following Thursday. Students rotate through four classes a day.

Sizzlin’ Summer Blue Group: Ages 7 – 8

Aftercare

For a more flexible pick up time, aftercare is available for $75 per camper/per week. Hours are 3:15 – 5:30 p.m. Mini Masters require an older sibling in order to participate.
(Note: for 4-day weeks 3 & 5 Aftercare is available for $60)

Lunch & Snacks

Students bring: Lunch, snack & drink bottle daily
(Aftercare students bring 2 snacks daily)
(No microwave heat ups)
(No Snack Cart option)
Lunch is also available through Palm Cafe. Orders must be put in on Mondays by 10:00 am.

Sample Schedule

9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
1st Class: 2-D Drawing and Painting

10:00 – 10:20 a.m.
Snack time

10:20 – 11:20 a.m.
2nd Class: Clay Handbuilding

11:20 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Outside Lunch (not provided). After finishing lunch, Campers may participate in light outdoor sports.

12:15 – 12:45 p.m.
Cool Down Time indoors with a theme related video clip.

12:50 – 1:50 p.m.
3rd Class: 3-D Class

1:50 – 2:50 p.m.
4th Class: Hands On Museum Time!

NOTE: Parent/Adult must sign their camper in and out daily and show ID upon pick up. Drop off is between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and pick up is promptly at 3:00 p.m.

Week 1: Space Safari Spectacular
6/2 – 6/6

Elephants, Giraffes, Chimps and Friends jump through hyperspace on a far out adventure!

Week 2: Minions and Monsters Montage
6/9 – 6/13

Minions and Monsters come together to create a world of mischievous fun.

Week 3: Dragons Chefs create Crazy Candy Castles
6/16 – 6/20 (4-day week: Closed 6/19)

Will your dragon draw, sculpt, or paint their amazing candy castle?

Week 4: Weather Wackiness (Exhibit week)
6/23 – 6/27

Hilarious Hurricanes? Wacky Waterspouts? Crazy Clouds? What’s in your forecast? (Some pieces will be selected for the Summer Camp Exhibit to open 9/6)

Week 5: It’s a Bugs Life
6/30 – 7/3 (4-day week: Closed 7/4)

Flying, crawling, swimming, jumping, slithering beloved bugs!

Week 6: Shark Week X
7/7 – 7/11

Every shark needs a vacation! Where in the World will yours go?

Week 7: Llama Drama Dali Style
7/14 – 7/18

Dreamy Drama with your Llama Buddies.

Week 8: Rockin’ Reptiles
7/21 – 7/25

Rockin’ out with your favorite Reptile buddies.

Week 9: Poke’ Pal Palooza
7/28 – 8/1
