Good news for fans of Dee Kilgo’s art history talks! Her new Winter-Spring series begins with a repeat performance at members’ requests of her “Decoding the Mona Lisa” lecture, a DFAC sell-out in 2024.

Explore the remarkable, the mysterious, and the weirdly wonderful in art history with Dee Kilgo, Ph.D. art historian.  Dee’s knowledge and lively style make art history fun, accessible, and intriguing. Don’t miss these popular sell-out events. Decoding the Mona Lisa

For all of you who’ve wondered how the Mona Lisa portrait became the world’s most famous artwork …. Dee’s talk tells the incredible story behind the creation of the painting and how its far-reaching innovations reflect Leonardo’s unique genius. You’ll also learn about the bizarre circumstances that led to the painting’s unparallelled rise to fame. It’s a fascinating story – fun, informative, and full of surprises. “With a few new twists,” this is a repeat performance (at members’ requests) of Dee’s “Decoding the Mona Lisa” talk at DFAC in 2024.
