Glenn Woods has a Bachelor of Science in Arts from Indiana Central University and added coursework from Valparaiso University, Indiana. He taught for many years at the Century Art Center in South Bend, Indiana Art Center at Battlecreek and Broadripple Art Center. He owns and operates Pottery Boys Studios.
