Exploration of traditional, safe methods of etching with anon-acid solution (ferric chloride) using copper plates. This Friday session is for students with considerable etching experience who may expand on more advanced techniques or try mezzotints (Please contact instructor in advance to order plates.) The studio is equipped with both a large 36” and smaller 19” press along with a rosin box and spray paint area for aquatints. This is a traditional oil based ink class. Advanced, Professional only.
