PR504 Beginner Intaglio Etching With Rebekah Lazaridis

Introduction to basic and safe methods of etching with anon-acid solution (ferric chloride) using copper plates. Printmaking experience is not necessary but having taken a drawing class or have some basic drawing ability is required. Those with etching experience can move their work to the next level. The use of a large and small etching press, spray-paint aquatint and other methods will be covered. Ages 17 and up. Beginner.
