Students will learn to bring the clay to life using techniques appropriate for their form and style. While most demonstrations will be done on the wheel, hand-builders are always welcome and will benefit tremendously from the demonstrations. Students may also work on their own independent projects. Intermediate and advanced students will learn refining techniques to help give their work a more professional look and feel. We will also cover preparation of the pieces for glaze firing – including CRYSTALLINE GLAZING. Of course, studio glazes and underglazes are always available. Ages 17 and up. All levels welcome!
