It’s Time to Get Creative…
What is the earliest memory you have about the creative freedom of art? Perhaps it’s the smell of a new box of crayons as you first opened them, or the tremendous feeling of the clay squishing between your fingers as you squeezed it. A blank sheet of paper, a ball of clay and a world of possibilities.
Those possibilities, of course, are still there inside of you. The Dunedin Fine Art Center just wants to help you realize them. There are no grades in their classes, no failure, just the reward of freeing your creativity. While DFAC offers top-notch instruction in traditional arts, such as drawing, painting, and pottery, you’ll also find exciting offerings in digital imaging, art & wellness, jewelry, metal-working, stone-carving, and wood-turning to name a few. With over 100 options PER session, there’s bound to be something for everyone, including DFAC’s Food Arts offerings!
The Dunedin Fine Art Center’s Gladys Douglas School of the Arts is currently registering for Summer and Fall Sessions of classes for children, teens & adults, with discounted tuition rates for DFAC Members. Scholarships are also available, with special assistance for Veterans. Daytime and evening classes are available as well as one day to week-long workshops in a variety of media. The NEW Fall I class session runs from September 12 – October 23, 2021, while the Fall Workshop Week is October 24-30, 2022 and Fall II, the final session of 2022 runs from October 31 – December 18.
For the easiest path to registration, complete catalog and registration, is available on the web at www.dfac.org. If needed, you can call 727.298.DFAC for assistance. The Dunedin Fine Art Center at 1143 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin, Florida 34698.
