Come Shadow Box with Us at the Dunedin Fine Art Center
Me and My Shadow [Box] is the name of the newest event at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, an organization that already puts on some of Tampa Bay’s best events according to the people who choose those sorts of things.
Sponsored by the Fine Art Society and IKEA, this event promises to deliver some incredible art to some lucky people for very little money. IKEA has donated 100 6”x6” RIBBA shadow boxes and 100 artists are turning them into works of great beauty. On October 21st, all of those art works will be going home with new owners and you could be one of them!
Your $25 admission ticket includes FOOD, FUN and 1 lucky ticket. Additional tickets will be available at 5 for $10. This is a GREAT way to start or add to your art collection. Part of the fun will be in the anonymity. All pieces will be displayed anonymously… only after you are the lucky winner will you find out who created it!
“We’re so excited that the Fine Art Society has chosen DFAC’s educational programs as the recipient for this fundraiser,” said George Ann Bissett, DFAC’s Executive Director. “With IKEA donating the shadow boxes, all of the proceeds are able to go directly to programming” she concluded.
Tickets are available for advance purchase online at www.dfac.org/tickets or by calling 727.298.DFAC. Tickets will also be available at the door for $30.
