Joanna Mazurek

Joanna’s deep appreciation for  pottery and timeless craftsmanship was shaped by her childhood growing up among the historic towns and villages of Europe. Surrounded by ancient architecture, cobblestone streets, and centuries-old artifacts, she developed a profound connection to the past—one that continues to inspire her ceramic work today.

Guided by a fascination with the textures, stories, and imperfections of aged objects, Joanna blends tradition with her own artistic sensibility, creating ceramics that echo history while feeling deeply personal.

She studied Fine Arts in Europe and holds BFA from The School of The Art Institute in Chicago form Ceramic Department. She continues to explore her passion for ceramics in her studio, where each piece reflects both her heritage and her enduring love for the beauty found in the old and time-worn and also nature.  She participated in numbers of solo and group exhibition In the United States, Canada, Japan and Belgium and Poland. She is a member of Florida Craft Art Gallery in St. Petersburg and a Ceramic Instructor at the Recreation Center in Tarpon Springs.
