Betsy Glass

Betsy Ore Glass became an artist after a thirty-year career in advertising and broadcasting in Virginia. Enjoying contributing as a freelance photographer for several newspapers on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, she renewed her love of nature. In her weekly newspaper and internet column, “Reflections by the Sea,” she married her photography and creative writing to bring a taste of coastal life to her readers. She now uses her collection of photography as the inspiration and reference for her painting, both pastel and oil. Her art adorns the homes and offices of many collectors and is regularly exhibited at galleries far and wide.
