Creative Fun for Kids and Families at DFAC
The Dunedin Fine Art Center proudly offers a unique and exciting blend of art and educational experiences designed specifically for children and teens. Young artists can explore their creativity year-round through our youth and teen classes, visit the David L. Mason Children’s Museum, discover new skills at one of our summer camps, celebrate a birthday in style at DFAC, or enjoy a fun-filled tour with classmates. Families can also join in the fun during our Family Fun Nights and Make & Take events, where creativity brings everyone together. Whatever their interests, kids, teens, and families are sure to find inspiration and joy at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.
Art Classes
The Dunedin Fine Art Center offers classes for kids and teens starting at age 5. Our programs cover a wide range of creative activities, including drawing, painting, clay, digital arts, photography, and more. If you don’t see a class that works with your schedule, we may be able to create one for groups of six or more participants, depending on studio and instructor availability.
Children’s Museum
DFAC is home to a special museum just for kids! The David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum boasts an interpretative and interactive gallery space for kids and their families and provides hands-on assistance with an understanding and appreciation of the work for the artists who are exhibited in the gallery.
Summer Camp
Each summer, the Dunedin Fine Art Center hosts a 10-week camp for children ages 4½ to 14. Our summer camps provide fun, creative, and engaging experiences that inspire kids and teens. Learn more about our programs and how to register your child today!
Student Tours
DFAC is an approved tour site for Pinellas County Schools, providing students and teachers with a unique educational opportunity. During the tour, visitors will explore the entire facility, including the children’s museum, exhibits, and our studio classrooms. They will also have the chance to meet our staff and learn about the various roles and activities that take place at the art center.
Birthday Parties
Did you know the Dunedin Fine Art Center offers a variety of birthday party options for kids and teens? Our art-themed parties are led by energetic and professional instructors, and can be tailored to fit your party’s theme. Your child and their friends will have a blast celebrating while creating one-of-a-kind art pieces they can cherish forever.
