Joy Ames

Joy Ames came to Florida from New York State where she owned and directed two Montessori Schools. She attended Fredonia State Teachers College, Incarnate Word in Texas and St. Nicholas in London, England. Belonging to AMS and AMI, Joy traveled around the world collecting the art of the masters. Her main focus has always been on Early Childhood Education. She has authored several publications on the Montessori Method and has been a beloved Children’s Instructor at DFAC for 25 years.
