Now in the Studio: Our Newest Instructors

Date: September 19, 2025 - December 23, 2025

Gallery: Teaching Gallery

The Dunedin Fine Art Center is proud to showcase the work of three of our newest instructors: Anders Fernbach, Betsy Ore Glass, and Ritu Haldar. Working in oil painting, pastels, and quilting, each artist brings a unique perspective and expertise to their practice and to the classroom.

This exhibition offers a glimpse into the creativity and craftsmanship that our community of students engages with every day. From Fernbach’s meticulously painted explorations to Glass’s luminous pastel works and Haldar’s rich quilted compositions, the variety of media and approaches reflects the richness of DFAC’s teaching community. These artists are not only accomplished in their own right, but also dedicated to sharing their knowledge and passion with others.

We invite you to experience their work firsthand and celebrate the talented instructors who continue to inspire, challenge, and nurture creativity at DFAC.

Betsy Ore Glass

Betsy Ore Glass became an artist after a thirty-year career in advertising and broadcasting in Virginia. Enjoying contributing as a freelance photographer for several newspapers on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, she renewed her love of nature. In her weekly newspaper and internet column, “Reflections by the Sea,” she married her photography and creative writing to bring a taste of coastal life to her readers. She now uses her collection of photography as the inspiration and reference for her painting, both pastel and oil. Her art adorns the homes and offices of many collectors and is regularly exhibited at galleries far and wide. View the classes she teaches here.

Ritu Haldar

Ritu Haldar is an instinctive artist, quilter and loves fabric. Reading fabric is her super power. Color is what brightens her day and old world artisans are her inspiration. A blend of east and west is her way of honoring cultures and old world artisans. She loves to collect and work with fabric from all over the world. She truly believes that art must be shared, loved, affordable and well made. View the classes she teaches here.
