W-PT213 Mountains Within- Painting the Landscape of your Heart with Scara Abe

We Invite you to a sumi-e workshop where you will paint the mountain landscape that lives within your heart.  Each participant will freely express the mountain that comes to mind, using traditional Japanese ink.

Your mountain may be:

Mt. Fuji, a symbol of Japan

A sacred, imaginary mountain that rises in the heavenly realm

A memorable mountain you encountered during your travels

A nostalgic mountain from your hometown

Or a mountain shaped by your own memories and emotions

With the soft gradations of ink and the quiet rhythm of the brush, we will capture these inner landscapes on paper.

Beginners are warmly welcome
