JW232 Cloisonne Enamel Jewelry with Karen Gallagher
October 29 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Thursdays, 6 Week Class
All levels welcome!
Open to all levels, this playful enameling class mixes metal with color. Students will learn basic metalsmithing skills like sawing, bezel making, and simple findings, then move into the exciting world of cloisonné—using thin wire walls to create detailed, glass-filled designs. We’ll torch-fire enamels and use a beehive kiln, working mostly in copper with silver accents. Curiosity encouraged, experience optional. Expect creative problem solving, colorful surprises, and plenty of hands-on experimentation together. $145.00 paid directly to instructor covers all materials. Ages 17 and up.
