CL644 Exploring Forms with Glenn Woods

This class is open to intermediate and advanced students who want to explore forms of their choice. I encourage you to bring photos or sketches of forms you wish to explore and we can go from there. Weeks 1 through 4 will be dedicated to throwing, trimming, and preparing your pieces for the glaze night, which will be on week 5. Week 5 will be dedicated to glazing and loading the kiln. Week 6 will be dedicated to removing the crystalline pieces from their risers and finishing the bottoms with diamond grinding discs. This session will conclude with a critique and discussion session reviewing glaze results – what worked well and what we should avoid in the future.
