Call for Entries: ARTIST’s ORNAMENTS

For DFAC’s Holiday Show 2014, Gifted, we are seeking artist-made ornaments in all media.

If you would like to submit a design (or 2 or 3) to be featured on our holiday trees, please submit an original example to DFAC’s Gallery Shop Manager, Angelea Carpenter, who will be selecting artists to sell ornaments on a commission basis for the 2014 Holiday season. Please note: DFAC’s standard commission agreement of 60% artist / 40% DFAC will apply for items sold.

Suggested price point should be between $5 -$20.

Considerations should be made to weight, durability and presentation (how the ornament will be suspended).

Deadline for submission of ornaments for consideration is: August 15, 2014.

Please deliver your sample ornament with attached entry form to DFAC @ 1143 Michigan Blvd. between normal business hours.

Artists will be notified by August 23.

Selected artists will be asked to provide an inventory of 24 ornaments initially, with potential to sell more as demand requires.
