The intricate large-scale watercolors of local arts legend, Jack Ellis, astound and delight. You could spend a lifetime in just one of his paintings and never want out.

New works by Laura Waller focusing on working waterfronts and urban landscapes from three coastal cities where the artist has lived and worked: Rockland, Maine; Tampa, Florida and New York City. Guest curated by Barbara Anderson Hill.

David Frye—Electromagnetic Narratives: The Saint Helices Series 

Representing a 30-year devotion, this exhibition encompasses paintings, drawings, prints and relief sculptures investigating what lies beyond our home planet’s atmosphere via abstraction and formalism. A graduate of Dunedin High School, David Frye lives and works in Queens, NY.

One Day Tampa Bay

DFAC is honored to share One Day Tampa Bay’s juried selection of photographs taken on September 22, 2018. One Day Tampa Bay is a 24-hour community photography project intended to capture the lives and light of the Tampa Bay area. This annual event is a dynamic and reflective documentation of our cities and their neighborhoods.

This is a journey you won’t want to miss!

All four exhibits open on January 11, 2019.  The Artist Talk will be from 6 – 7 pm with a reception immediately following from 7 – 9 pm.  While admission to the exhibits during DFAC’s normal hours is free, there is a $5 charge for non-members to attend the Artist Talk and/or the Opening Reception, both of which are free to DFAC members.

Hours are Monday-Friday: 10am – 5pm, Saturday: 10 am – 2 pm, Sunday: 1pm – 4pm
