This Holiday Season, DFAC is Raising Money to Give the Gift of Art

Give the Gift of Art

This holiday season, Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) is raising money to Give the Gift of Art.

DFAC helps artists access creativity through the Circle of Caring, our scholarship program. Last month, a generous donor, along with DFAC’s Sterling Society, committed $7,500 towards scholarships for individuals of all ages.

Before the end of this year, the Give the Gift of Art campaign will raise an additional $7,500 for the Circle of Caring, kicking off 2026 with $15,000 in DFAC scholarship funds for artists. This will ensure that each Circle of Caring applicant receives access to scholarship opportunities.

Make your tax-deductible donation to Give the Gift of Art before December 31st. Give today, before time runs out to use your RMD for art! Your contribution sustains connections to creativity that strengthens learning, health, and community across generations.

Why Give the Gift of Art?

The Circle of Caring makes art accessible to everyone — from children discovering creativity to adults and seniors finding renewed purpose and connection.

Learning & Youth

Schools expanding arts education report a 21% drop in disciplinary incidents. Students in arts programs show measurable gains in writing and empathy. Your tax-deductible donation improves attendance, creativity, and social-emotional skills, building stronger learners and more engaged citizens.

Adults & Seniors

Regular arts engagement is linked to slower cognitive decline, lower stress, and higher overall well-being. Your tax-deductible donation leads to stronger social connections while reducing isolation, fostering purpose and belonging among older adults.

Economic Growth

In Florida, arts and culture drive over $5 billion in activity and support more than 90,000 jobs. In Pinellas County, the sector produces approximately $295 million annually, sustaining over 4,500 jobs and $185 million in local income. Your tax-deductible donation increases civic engagement, small-business growth, and tourism—proof that creative investment builds thriving cities.
