DFAC Gears Up for its BIGGEST Showcase of the Year!
Prepare for a visual feast as the Dunedin Fine Art Center unveils its largest exhibition of the year! With an impressive array of artworks spanning the creative spectrum of more than 200 artists, the #SMF, DFAC Student/Member/Faculty Exhibition promises to be an unparalleled celebration of artistic talent. From stellar student and member pieces to captivating works by our esteemed faculty, each artwork represents a unique journey of creativity over the past year!
In this eagerly anticipated showcase, student and member artists present their finest creations across diverse mediums, vying for prestigious cash prizes decided by a guest juror. Meanwhile, DFAC’s revered faculty exhibit their masterpieces in an adjoining gallery, adding another layer of depth and inspiration to the exhibition. From traditional paintings to innovative jewelry, from intricate pastels to vibrant photography, and everything in between, expect to be captivated by the sheer variety of artistic expressions on display.
Catherine Bergmann, DFAC’s Curatorial Director, shares her excitement, remarking, “This exhibit is always a highlight of the year. It’s not just the largest in terms of square footage, but it’s a testament to the immense talent within our artistic community. Witnessing the breadth of creativity showcased here is truly inspiring.”

Alongside the #SMF showcase, we’re thrilled to present “Walkin’ the Talk: PCS Art Teachers,” a long overdue exhibition that celebrates The Secret Life of Art Teachers . . . True Heroes + Sheroes, these fabulous creators will show us what they do when they’re not working.
