Thursday, September 10th at 12 noon,the series hosts artist Lina Teixeira. Lina is a fashion designer and wearable artist who loves turning the everyday mundane in to beautiful forms of Wearable ART. In case you missed it, Lina closed DFAC’s wearable ART show this year with her incredible collection entitled “Mundo.”

In the second installment of Artistic Discovery DFAC’s Congressional District 13 Pinellas County High Schools art showcase, a number of talented area students were chosen for special recognition.
After years of, CONTAIN IT! being double billed with TRASHY TREASURES, DFAC’s venerable Art Garage Sale, the addition two years ago of food trucks, revved up what had already become a uniquely fringe arts festival. The addition of EAT IT! made it a tasty triple header noted Ken Hannon DFAC’s Vice-President. Trashy Treasures runs indoors and CONTAIN IT! outdoors, so art lovers and buyers were already getting TWO events for the price of one, he said.

On a blustery Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 12 NOON, J. Kokolakis Contracting and the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) officially “topped out” the addition of nearly 11,000 sq.ft. that is adding approximately 7,500 sq. ft. to DFAC’s main campus on Michigan Blvd. in Dunedin.
