Celebrating 16 years of Tempus Projects, this anniversary exhibition brings together the work of sixteen artists who have helped shape the artist-driven space. The show underscores the vital role nonprofit art centers play in fostering dialogue, discovery, and community connection.

Cumulonimbus: The Art of Yhali Ilan: September 19, 2025 – December 23, 2025
Local artist Yhali Ilan presents a new series of vibrant, narrative-driven paintings that explore the beauty and fragility of nature. Known for his bold illustrative style, Ilan weaves stories into surreal figures and landscapes that invite viewers to imagine their own interpretations.

Now in the Studio: Our Newest Instructors: September 19, 2025 – December 23, 2025
DFAC shines a spotlight on three new faculty members—Anders Fernbach, Betsy Ore Glass, and Ritu Haldar. Featuring painting, pastels, and quilting, this exhibition celebrates the creativity and expertise they share with students in the classroom and beyond.

The Source: September 19, 2025 – October 19, 2025
A juried community exhibition exploring the inspirations behind artistic practice—whether a muse, a memory, or a metaphor. Guest judge R. Lynn Whitelaw, former curator of the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, will award cash prizes to selected artists.

Event Details

“I’m excited to share the wonderful sense of community that’s on display throughout these four exhibitions,” said DFAC’s Curator, Danny Olda. “From the overwhelming response to our call for artists in The Source, to the wealth of talent nurtured by the influential non-profit art space Tempus Projects, to the imaginative storytelling of Yhali Ilan, and the fresh perspectives of our newest faculty members, each exhibition reflects the strength and vibrancy of artists as individuals and as a collective force.”
