Coffee and Conversation with Laura Lee Hubbard at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.
Hanging out, drinking delicious coffee, talking about art… ahhhh, that’s the life! Well, that IS the life at least for an hour or so each month at the Dunedin Fine Art Center’s Coffee and Conversation series. Enjoy coffee (Presented by the Sterling Society of DFAC) and insights as each month’s invited guest holds forth on their own area of expertise. Admission to these relaxed talks is $5 and is FREE to current DFAC members.
Thursday, April 14th, 2016 at 12 noon,the series hosts fabric artist Laura Lee Hubbard. Laura Lee will have you thinking differently about the way you dress and perhaps your entire creative process. The title of her presentation will be ” Inner Techniques of a Crafter’s Journey.” Be ready to be inspired!
Laura Lee Hubbard began her creative journey with a classical music training Bachelors Degree at Nyack College in Nyack, NY. Her soulful, sensitive sounds captivated audiences around the world.
She has had the honor of having Van Morrison, Todd Rundgren, Rod Stewart and Michael McDonald in her audiences. Her voice has been heard on national commercials such as AT&T, Dove Bar, Nutri-Grain Cereal and Diet Coke.
Laura Lee‘s soulful styling while once combined pop and jazz now combines cotton and silk, in her LILY MONK repurposed fabric designs, sewn colorfully and whimsically, designed to treat heart, mind and body!
