Submission Guidelines

Eligibility

Artists must fill out submission form before the deadline on March 2, 2026, 11:59 p.m. in order to be eligible. Artwork delivered without having filled out the submission form and artwork loan agreement cannot be accepted.

Open to artists working in any medium. Artists must be current students, members or faculty members of the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Artists may submit no more than one work of art. Artists may only submit under one category (e.g. artists submitting as a member may not also submit as a student).

Media Accepted

We’re accepting work in all 2D and 3D media including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital art, and sculpture. Artwork must be ready to hang or install upon delivery to the art center. For example, 2D must be wired or have a similar hanging mechanism already installed. Artwork that is not ready to install upon delivery cannot be accepted. Artists with unusual installation requirements should contact DFAC in advance.

Please include your name, artwork title, artwork medium, and price/value with your artwork upon delivery.

Size Restrictions: 2D artwork should not be larger than 140 inches total when adding all sides. 3D work should fit on a pedestal or floor area no larger than 21 inches wide x 21 inches deep (with no restrictions on height).

Sales & Insurance

Work may be made available for sale. The Dunedin Fine Art Center retains a 40% commission on sales (60% going to the artist). Artwork will be insured while on DFAC property for up to 60% of its value.

An artist loan agreement will be sent to each artist. This must be completed and delivered with the artwork.
