Join us for the opening of DFAC’s Winter 2026 exhibitions—an evening celebrating five dynamic shows, an artist talk, and the announcement of awards for the juried exhibition Face Value.

- DFAC Members: Free admission with early entry at 5:30 p.m. (Please RSVP below and bring your membership card the night of the opening)
- Not Yet Members: $10 online | $12 at the door

Low Tide / High Root: APIDA Diasporic Perspectives
A group exhibition featuring seven Tampa Bay artists of Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) backgrounds, exploring identity, memory, and cultural hybridity through traditional and contemporary media.
Tatiana Mesa Paján: MÍO/MINE
A poetic solo exhibition examining diaspora, impermanence, and ownership through found and borrowed objects that reflect memory, movement, and care.
Latonya Hicks: When the Lights Came On: Shared Memories and the Things We Keep
Circular mixed-media assemblages made from familiar objects of the 1980s and 90s explore nostalgia, family history, and shared cultural memory.
Brooke Allison: Life Capturing Lessons
A solo exhibition showcasing luminous still lifes and figurative works by Brooke Allison, celebrating her mastery of color, form, and a lifelong dedication to painting from life.
Face Value
A juried exhibition exploring the symbolism and power of the human face, from portraiture to abstraction and social commentary. Guest judged by Amanda Cooper, Chief Curator at the Morean Arts Center.
