DFAC Summer Camp Offerings Available for Registration

How do you make an already successful Summer Camp Program even better? “MORE is better” according to Todd Still, Director of Youth Education at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. This year the camp offers programs for teens as well as a separate DFAC on Stage and Mural Madness Camps. “We’re trying to offer the breadth of programs that parents are looking for” says Mr. Still.

George Ann Bissett, the Executive Director of DFAC feels the camps are growing because of the positive experience the children are having. “Studies show” she notes “that children who study art, end up doing better in ALL of their studies, so that makes our programs pretty popular with parents too!”

The Summer Camp Programs which run from June 11th through August 17th provide exciting camp experiences for children 4.5 – 14 years old. The offerings include:

Mini-Masters – (ages 4.5-5 years) 9:00 am – 12:00 noon, OR 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Mon. – Fri.
Sizzlin’ Summer / Visual Art – (ages 6-10 years) 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Mon. – Fri.
Mural Madness- (ages 8-12 years) 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Mon. – Fri.
DFAC on Stage- (ages 8-14 years) 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Mon. – Fri.
Art Squad – (ages 11- 14 years) 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Mon. – Fri.

Scholarships and after-care and lunch are available.
