SENSational Saturday to Include Appraisals and Demos at DFAC.
As the summer of endless fabric delight nears its end at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, a SENSational Saturday, set for August 8, is a fitting way to send it on its way!
Brenda Grampsas, an American Quilter’s Society, Paducah, KY, Certified Appraiser of quilts and quilted textiles, will be at DFAC from 10-5pm, Saturday, August 8th to offer verbal evaluations or written appraisals of your quilts.
Brenda has a special interest in antique quilts and has had the privilege of documenting the quilt collections of Heritage Village, Largo, Florida and the St. Petersburg Museum of History, St. Petersburg, Florida.
Fees for verbal evaluation $20 and written appraisal $45 will paid directly to Brenda. *Allow 1/2 hour for written appraisal consult.
FREE admission to Quilt and Textiles exhibits with a quilt to be evaluated or appraised!
Come Out and PLAY, with DFAC textiles faculty. See demos, touch, feel and try your hand at some exciting techniques in what DFAC is calling their Fabric Feel Day!
Interested in weaving? Dyeing? More? Stop by and talk with Concepcion Poou Coy Tharin about Mayan Back Strap Weaving, Bonnie Bowman about Artful Basketry, annie! Wade about Fabric Art Collage, Mei-Ling St. Leger about Screenprinting or Maggie Vricos about Creative Knitting.

All of this is FREE with admission to quilt/textile exhibits.
