All FIVE of DFAC’s Galleries Come Alive for Fall 2014 Exhibitions.
Though marked by real and imaginary boundaries, the Dunedin Fine Art Center’s quintet of Fall exhibits will take up every inch of DFAC’s newly expanded gallery space.
Lost Worlds in the new Gamble Family Gallery, will feature artists whose works map forgotten landscapes, in a variety of media, both abstract and defined. You can visit the imaginary worlds of Edgar Sanchez Cumbas, Lise Drost, Shane McAdams and William Walmsley. (September 12 – December 23, 2014)
DFAC’s Entel Family Gallery will house Living Matter(s) , an invitational exhibit of artists who embrace the LIVING, via subject matter, process and/or materials. Look for works by Neverne Covington, Mary Hart, David Hicks, Jackie Kazarian, Bonnie Seeman and Rachel Simmons. (September 12 – December 23, 2014)
PLANTS Illustrated will bloom in the Meta B. Brown Gallery. This exhibit will feature works culled from call for entries to the DFAC Community and beyond for Botanical works in all media, created with a nod to the traditional, scientific, illustrative form.(September 12 – October 19, 2014)
The second installment of works by artists whose talents were cultivated through DFAC programs will come home to roost in the Douglas-Whitley Gallery. Homegrown II is a celebration of their achievements and DFAC’s 40+ years of dynamic visual arts education. Artists include: Kathy Araujo, Holly Bird, Jon Didier, Sarah Garcia, Jean Hayes, Jennifer Klaus, Stuart Palm, Ailish Shea, Arlene Tribbia, Jennifer Weaver, Debra Thomas Weible and others. (September 12 – October 19, 2014)

An exhibit of work from DFAC Summer Camp artists shares the same name, but occupies its own space in the Kokolakis Family Youth Gallery.
