It’s Time to Get Creative…
From the decreased class sizes to new social distancing policies, every effort is being made to help insure a positive class experience, in this the most trying of times. All of the policies that DFAC has put in place, along the latest class offerings can be found on their website.
What is the earliest memory you have about the creative freedom of art? Perhaps it’s the smell of a new box of crayons as you first opened them, or the tremendous feeling of the clay squishing between your fingers as you squeezed it. A blank sheet of paper, a ball of clay and a world of possibilities.
Those possibilities, of course, are still there inside of you. The Dunedin Fine Art Center just wants to help you realize them this Summer. There are no grades in their classes, no failure, just the reward of freeing your creativity. While DFAC offers top-notch instruction in traditional arts, such as drawing, painting, and pottery, you’ll also find exciting offerings in digital imaging, fashion design, jewelry, metal-working, stone-carving, and wood-turning to name a few. With over 100 options PER session this summer, there’s bound to be something for everyone, including DFAC’s new Food Arts offerings!
The Dunedin Fine Art Center’s Gladys Douglas School of the Arts is currently registering for Summer & Fall Session classes for children, teens & adults, with discounted tuition rates for DFAC Members. Scholarships are also available. Daytime and evening are available as well as one day to week-long workshops in a variety of media. Register now for Summer I: June 1-July 12, 2020, Summer II: July 13-August 23, 2020, Fall I: September 14- October 25, 2020 and Fall II: November 2-December 20, 2020.
For the easiest path to registration, complete catalog and registration, is available on the web at www.dfac.org. If needed, you can call 727.298.DFAC (after May 18th) for assistance. The Dunedin Fine Art Center at 1143 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin, Florida 34698 will remain closed to the public until the first day of classes on June 1st.
