Coffee and Conversation with Todd Still at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.
Hanging out, drinking delicious coffee, talking about art… ahhhh, that’s the life! Well, that IS the life at least for an hour or so each month at the Dunedin Fine Art Center’s Coffee and Conversation series. Enjoy coffee (Presented by the Sterling Society of DFAC) and insights as each month’s invited guest holds forth on their own area of expertise. Admission to these relaxed talks is $5 and is FREE to current DFAC members.
Thursday, September 8th, 2016 at 12 noon,the series hosts artist and educator Todd Still, fresh from the summer run of his epic exhibition, #EPIC. Enter Todd’s brain via the world of re-purposing/ recycling and re-inventing the David L. Mason Children’s ART Museum. It’s been a wild 19 year ride! Get a peek at what’s new with the youth programs at DFAC, expansions as well as some tidbits about the Mr. Still’s background and history
Todd Still conceives of, operates and administers the youth education programs of DFAC, including classes, school tours, Summer Arts Camp, family workshops, events, and the Children’s Hands On Art Museum. Mr. Still taught art at the elementary and middle school levels for 5 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art Education K – 12 from the University of South Florida and has been with DFAC for close to 19 years. He is a graduate of Leadership Pinellas class of 2009 and serves on the Academie Davinci Charter School Board of Directors. Most recent accomplishments include the launch of the popular and one of a kind outreach program, “Wheels on Wheels: A Mobile Pottery Experience”.
