Dunedin Fine Art Center is proud to host a demonstration and workshop by California artist, Elio Camancho. He is an accomplished colorist who teaches oil and acrylic painting in San Francisco, CA. Using engaging demos in his still life workshops, he stresses design and color theory in conveying emotion and effective composition. His technique incorporates an ala prima approach to mixing color on the canvas as well as the palette. He reveals how warm and cool colors, value and transparency control composition, depth and focal points in a painting.
