Join us at the Dunedin Fine Art Center for an engaging artist talk with Leslie Neumann, a celebrated Florida-based artist known for her striking encaustic landscape paintings. Discover her unique artistic approach and the environmental inspiration behind her work.
Neumann’s impressive career spans over three decades, with her art featured in numerous museums and corporate collections. Influenced by her move from New York City to the serene fishing village of Aripeka, Florida, Neumann explores local coastal wetlands in her vivid “Wetlands in Transition” series, on exhibit at DFAC until August 18th. Her recent “Transitions Series” reflects her response to contemporary political concerns.
As a founding member of the Gulf Coast Conservancy, Neumann is dedicated to environmental activism, having helped preserve 15,000 acres of coastal land. She welcomes audience feedback and looks forward to answering questions.
