Art Talks are back! Explore the remarkable, the mysterious, and the weirdly wonderful in art with Dee Kilgo, Ph.D. Art Historian. Dee’s knowledge and humor make art history fun, accessible, and intriguing. All proceeds go to support the educational programs at DFAC (thanks Dee)!

Georgia O’Keeffe: An American Original

Georgia O’Keeffe has been a major figure in American art since the 1920s when she first exhibited her now familiar abstract flower paintings. In 1946, she made history as the first woman to have a solo exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art. Learn more about this notoriously independent, freethinking artist in a presentation that examines her early career, her legendary partnership with Alfred Stieglitz, and the creative achievements that made her one of the most original artists of the 20th century.
