Warm Colors:

Perm. Red or *Winsor Red or Cad. Red Light

*New Gamboge or Indian Yellow or Cad. Yellow Medium

*Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade) or French Ultramarine Blue

Cool Colors:

Perm. Alizarin Crimson or Carmine or *Perm. Rose

*Winsor Lemon or Lemon Yellow or Cad. Lemon

*Winsor Blue – Green Shade or Prussian Blue or Phthalo Blue

PAPER :

I use Arches CP a full sheet 22.5” x 30” (torn in class to 8” x 10” sheets) Please use any type of Watercolor Paper that is at least 140lb. Please have extra sheets at every class for small studies

BRUSHES :

Synthetic Brushes – Loew Cornell, Princeton, any watercolor brushes from Cheap Joe’s Art Supplies

#10 Round

#4 or 6 Round

½” flat or slanted brush for applying washes

Toothbrush and other scrubbies

MISC :

Water container

Board to paint on – foam core made waterproof with contact paper

Paper Towels

Spray Bottle –small one available from Michael’s

Masking Fluid – make sure it does NOT say Permanent

Ruler

Eraser Pencil
