SUMMARY:W-PA115 How do I underpaint thee? Let me count the ways with Lorraine Potocki
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, December 2 and Wednesday\, December 3Intermediate\, Advanced \n\n\n\n\n\nStarting a pastel with an underpainting gives you a roadmap of shapes\, values\, temperatures\, and color. Learn a variety of underpainting techniques in these two ½ day workshops. On Day 1\, we’ll begin counting the ways we can underpaint by doing a series of studies using underpainting with a dark color\, pastel and alcohol\, an overall warm color\, and Art Graf or watercolor. On the next day\, Day 2\, you’ll select the underpainting technique you enjoyed the most and paint a larger pastel. Will underpainting take you to the depth and breath your soul can reach? I guess you’ll just have to take the workshop to find out. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate & Time: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInstructor

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 6 and Sunday\, December 7All levels welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\nStart a colored pencil drawing with oil paint! Underpainting with a single color of oil paint is a great base for color drawing. The underpainting quickly establishes the value structure and provides a unifying base for colors on top. Paint and paper are provided. A choice of subject outlines with color references will be available\, or you can bring your own reference to transfer to the paper. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate & Time: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInstructor
