We will also discuss how the glaze can be used to enhance or soften the altered surface.

The 5th week is dedicated to glazing using crystalline glazes which will be provided to you by the instructor and the 6th week is dedicated to removing the pieces from their risers, grinding, and finishing the bottoms.

The last night, after the pieces have been finished we will end the evening with a critique of lid solutions and glaze results.
