Collagraphy is a printmaking process in which materials are applied to a rigid substrate, such as paperboard, wood or plexiglass. The word is derived from the Greek word koll or kolla, meaning glue, and graph, meaning the activity of drawing. The resulting print is termed a collagraph. This process is exciting as many different types of materials may be used to print off of! Bubble wrap, leaves, cardboard, almost any thin substance that has texture can be explored!
