DA734 - Creating Your Own Website

Skill Levels: Beginner,Intermediate

Ready to create your own website? This class will start with basic definitions and terminology. Students will then be introduced to HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and begin creating web pages. Next, they will learn about cascading style sheets (CSS) to start styling their content. The course will cover web design fundamentals (images and fonts on the web) and page layout. Finally, there will be an overview on web hosting from setting up an account to uploading files to the web. Students will be given resources to continue to maintain their website. Basic computer skills required.
